This challenging Barbell Complex works your entire body!
NOTE: A Barbell Complex is a strength circuit where you complete two or more barbell exercises back to back with no rest. They can be used as a workout, or within a workout.
In this video, I’m using two 11.36 kg (25 lb) plates on a 7 kg (15.4 lb) bar = 29.72 kg (65.5 lb) total. Naturally, the leg and glute work was manageable, while the upper body and cleans were intense. I recommend using little to no weight on the bar at first, then increasing as your strength and ability allows.
Safely perform 8-12 repetitions of each exercise for 3-5 sets.
- Stiff Leg Deadlift
- Bent Over Row
- Power Clean and Press
- Back Loaded Reverse Lunge
- Hip Thrusts
