Glute Strengthening Workout

Two years ago, I aggravated a pre-existing back injury that sent me to the emergency room…  which ultimately ended in surgery. Although my back pain has subsided, I have permanent nerve damage which makes it extremely difficult to activate certain muscles. I lost a lot of strength and have fear around re-injuring myself.

 

This week’s workout video is a raw, unedited session I recently had with my trainer Rudy @23star_fitness. This workout primarily focuses on safely strengthening my glutes.

Most people are surprised when they learn that I work with a trainer each week. They want to know why someone with my credentials and experience would need someone to guide me through my workouts.
