4th of July Strawberries
1 lb Fresh Strawberries
6 oz (½ package) White Baking Chips
Blue Sugar Sprinkles
Place a sheet of wax paper on your cookie sheet.
Wash the strawberries and dry completely.
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or by simmering on your stove, but the easiest method is… in the microwave!
Start by microwaving white chocolate chips for 30 seconds (in microwave safe bowl), then stir. Continue to microwave in 10 second increments, stirring each time until they’re melted and smooth.
Hold strawberry by the stem, and carefully dip in melted chocolate. As you lift the strawberry up from the chocolate, twist and twirl to let the excess chocolate drip off, then carefully dip the end in the bowl of blue sugar crystals.
Place on the wax paper lined cookie sheet.
Refrigerate and let the chocolate set as it cools. (approx. 30 minutes)
