Total Body Outdoor Workout using Resistance Band

Those who know me best, know that I LOVE to travel! I also don’t like going more than a few days without exercising, so I always take a resistance band with me on my journeys.

Resistance bands and tubing allow you to perform strength-training exercises without weights. They are lightweight, easily portable, inexpensive, easy to store and perfect for exercising virtually anywhere!

This week’s workout was done using a resistance band. As an added benefit, I took the workout outdoors to get a little fresh air and Vitamin D… not to mention a spectacular view of Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica.

 

Perform 10-12 repetitions of each exercise, repeating the entire circuit 3-5 times.

  1. Resisted Squats
  2. Rear Leg Extensions
  3. Reverse Lunges
  4. Glute Bridges with Abduction
  5. Bicycle Crunch
  6. Seated Rows – Single Arm
  7. Push-Ups
